Abstract

For the past decade the USA has been paying its full attention to building up of an efficient crisis management system. The USA National Security Strategy has been developed with a view to answering how to find in a cooperative model of crisis management an optimum solution for crisis issues in this unstable and globalized world, burdened in addition with gross injustices and differences that induce new unresolvable crises. The events of September 11 pointed at positive as well as at negative aspects of the NATO crisis management system and proved that the prompt warning system in crisis management lacked an envisaged reaction to a crisis challenge. They confirmed however that the USA alone disposes of a full range options suitable to meet the challenges ensuing from the unpredictable future as regards security and the nature of the world we live in. The USA is building the crisis management system, based on security cooperation, in terms of its own national security. The security cooperation implies a global crisis management whose wide range activities are oriented towards meeting the crisis challenges by promoting a general stability, common security and defence, as well as the individual security of every citizen. Ali this contribute to development, prosperity and welfare of all the people and the future generations in democratic societies all around the world .
