Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increase in intensive farming of insects and subsequntly raise in their usage as human food or animal feed. There are a number of concerns regarding the possible risks in producing, processing and consuming this alternative source of protein. The aim of this study was to describe the potential risks of consuming such products.
