Abstract

Electronic commerce has a major role in the process of buying, selling and exchanging goods and services over the Internet. Simplicity and low cost have led e-commerce becoming the most profitable form of commerce. This way of trade carries certain benefits like selling and buying products 24 hours a day regardless of distance between users and products. Internet sites allow money savings because there is no need for buying an office. E-commerce is becoming more and more developed today, offering users a wide variety of products, making it easier to sort price and compare it with other products. Product delivery can save time and money. Also product information is available online. The aim od this final work is to investigate whether small companies in Republic of Croatia use e-commerce and what is their role. For this purpose we interviewed owners of firts Zare
waste store “Špajza“.
