Abstract

The process of accession to NATO presents a complex sum of reform and informing activities which beside the participation of political elites and state structures also implies public involvement whose attitudes are best detected through public opinion research conducted on regular basis. These results should serve as a basic indicator for the future informing activities as well as to point at some of the constants of the process based on the experience of the countries which made more progress in the Euro-Atlantic integration process, with the aim to react timely at the level of the entire society.
