Abstract
Winter forage pea variety Osječki zeleni was seeded on 15th October 2006 with winter wheat variety Barbara on Agricultural Institute Osijek Cutting was done in five terms: 20th and 24th April and 2nd, 8th and 21st May 2007. Forage yield was increasing with the term of cutting from 38.8 at first cutting to 57.3 t ha-1 at last cutting. Pea share in the mixture was from 42 to 53 %. Average plant height of pea was from 65.7 at first cutting to 150.2 cm at last cutting. Average wheat height was from 36.9 at first cutting to 80.9 cm at last cutting. Leaf partition in pea dry matter yield was from 58.8 at first cutting to 40.8 % at last cutting, while the leaf partition in wheat dry matter yield was from 46.6 at first cutting to 25.3 % at last cutting. Mixture protein yield was from 1056.4 at first cutting to 16304 kg ha-1 at last cutting. Pea share in protein yield was from 47.2 to 58.5 %.
