This paper deals with the research of methods of evaluating the technical competence of the selected organization through the analysis of technical competence based on the selected determinants and within them indicators of technical competence. In order for the organization to perform well, it is necessary to adhere to the basic principles of the management system. An important role in business is played by organizational competence, which includes human resources competence, technological competence, technical competence and structural competence. Each of the mentioned competences is equally important and cannot be viewed separately, but requires mutual complementation and interweaving. Technical competence consists of machines and means used for work and infrastructure, i.e. spaces used for work. The analysis of technical competence is based on five determinants within which there are indicators that are evaluated. Based on the results of the determinants, the final result of technical competence is obtained. The researched organization did not prove to be technically competent.
