Abstract

Two decades of simultaneous reforms in co-called traditional cultural heritage and high school education provided an opportunity for an ethnographic presentation in pedagogic anthropology. The case in question concerns the transformation of typical didactic tools for ethnological education from exemplary objects and collections to a participatory process. A game of constructing objects out of discarded books, following actual vernacular technique, proved to be a valid issue for research. Its description and interpretation are followed by an analysis of future applications in both reform processes.
