ON ACTIVITY AND INFLUENCE OF THE CONSEIL D'ETAT

Abstract

Conseil d'Etat is one of the most famous institution of legal and constitutional history of France. In his introductory remarks Mr. Jean-Marc Sauvé described in short history and present signifi cance of this glorious institution. There are two most important roles of the Conseil d'Etat: counceling and judicating. Author tells us about importance of criterions of the Conseil d'Etat work and how they relate to the activities of the institution. He desrcibes the essentials of the administrative law and tribunals in France and Croatia while making an important point about how the administrative justice is of importance for quality and effi ciency of law in respective countries like France and Croatia.
