Heuristics and a multidimensional tetrahedron

Abstract

In this paper we will formulate and prove in one
direction and in an elementary way two (equivalence) theorems
referring to properties of the centre of gravity of a triangle
i.e. a tetrahedron, which are found in mathematical applications.
Then, without proving, we will state three theorems on a
multidimensional tetrahedron (determining its centre of gravity,
one special property of the centre of gravity and its volume),
providing thereby special cases which we know how to prove in an
elementary way. The purpose of this is to present heuristics or
ars inveniendi, which is important in mathematics, and not only in
mathematics.
