MANAGERS MUST KNOW: BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE CREATES THE MOST IMPORTANT RESOURCE OF MANAGING

Abstract
In this text one of the most interesting themes of contemporary science is being problematized, and such is the question of Business Intelligence or business secret-services. It is founded and accepted by managers of large corporations even before the First century, long since it became »conditio sine qua non« for all capable establishments of transnational and multinational corporations. It even became a method of survival and a condition of development in assorted spaces of international economics. Certainly, it even became such for smaller economically powerful business subjects in the most developed countries. In the work, necessity of restoring up departments of business secret– services into business departments in Republic of Croatia is being emphasized. It points out that their managers must finally know that business secret-services on the basis of information – create the most important resource of maneuvoring – a such is the previous cognition. And to such, the road leads along procedures of gathering information from so called open sources, but also from half-open sources. And exactly now the information is the main product of business secret activities and can be divided in few categories. In fact, the word is about assorted integral information system – to which the information management is on top. It is owned by the countries of multinational and transnational corporations. Although, even the smaller business entities. It is believed that such most-sophisticated systems have: General Electric, Royal Dutch Shell, General Motors, Toyota Motors, Exxon Mobil, British Petroleum (BP) i JP Morgan Chase.
