Abstract

There is a great need for the exchange of information and goods in the contemporary society. The international parcel distribution is considered the quickest and the most practical way of the exchange and delivery of goods in the globalised world. This article deals with
three models of the international parcel distribution business strategy: call model, contract model and combined model. Features, advantages and shortcomings are pointed out for each model. Special emphasis is put on their use in various business situations relevant to the requirements of international parcel distribution services.
