The journal of the Association of Kinesiologists Rijeka contains scientific and professional works related to kinesiology and its applied fields. The first issue of the ERS magazine was published in June 1992 as: Informative professional newsletter of the Association of Physical Education Pedagogues of the City of Rijeka. The group of kinesiologists decided to establish contact and direct cooperation with a large number of kinesiologists, as well as with employees engaged in preschool, elementary, high school and student age, as well as with health workers, kinesitherapists, top athletes, trainers and all other structures that in any way take care of the physical and health culture of younger and older people, in developing a healthy and humane competitive spirit. The professional newsletter had the task of educating and informing about current issues of physical and health culture, sports recreation, sports as a whole and sports competitions (with an emphasis on the school and student population) through professional and informative articles. In 2005, in the month of November, the Newsletter of the Association of Physical Education Pedagogues of the City of Rijeka changed its name to: Informative professional newsletter of kinesiologists of the City of Rijeka. In 2014, the word "City" was deleted from the name and it was renamed: Informative expert newsletter of kinesiologists Rijeka. In 2019, in addition to professional and informative articles, scientific articles also began to be published, and Glasilo was renamed: Journal of the Rijeka Association of Kinesiologists. In 2020, on October 19, in addition to the printed version, the ERS magazine will also receive an online version, which will be published on the portal of Croatian scientific and professional magazines Hrčak and on the blog page of the Association of Kinesiologists Rijeka, and every professional and scientific paper must have the author's institution, abstract and keywords listed. In 2025, scientific and professional articles in the Journal will receive an addition in English: Title, author's institution, abstract and keywords.
