The journal focuses on research and professional papers grounded in scientific, theoretical, or philosophical frameworks. While NEC primarily targets nursing professionals, it also welcomes contributions from other health-related disciplines such as physiotherapy, midwifery, medicine, psychology, public health, education, ethics, philosophy, communication sciences, management, and information technology. Contributions from these fields are sought if they meaningfully advance nursing practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Studies that compare respondents from different health professions are especially encouraged.
