Psychiatria Danubina, founded in 1989 is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal and the official journal of the Danubian Psychiatric Association, issued quarterly in English. The primary objective of the journal is to serve as a platform for the publication of original and significant contributions in the field of psychiatry, psychological medicine, and their interconnected scientific disciplines. Psychiatria Danubina aims to foster collaborative scientific projects in the countries of the Danube region and to stimulate global cooperation. The journal’s mission is to serve to academic community in the field of psychiatry, mental health sciences and public and global mental health in transdisciplinary and integrative way. Psychiatria Danubina particularly welcomes papers with transdisciplinary integrative approach and with arching concepts and paradigms that unify all psychiatric disciplines and mental health sciences. Also prefers the authors to communicate with each other through creative interaction promoting a kind of mental health noosphere. There are no submission fees, editorial processing charges and article processing fees (APC). The Journal is indexed by APA PsycInfo, Excerpta Medica (EMBASE), MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus. Publishers of the Journal are: University of Zagreb School of Medicine, Zagreb, Croatia; PRO MENTE d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia; Danubian Psychiatric Association, Linz, Austria; Medicinska naklada d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia.
