Sažetak

The Senj Printing House is one of the earliest printing houses in Croatia. At the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, it printed religious books written in the rounded Glagolitic script. Books with non-liturgical content are predominant among the preserved copies. In this paper, we analyse selected editions of the Senj Printing House. On the one hand, this includes an analysis of the medical terminology they contained, and on the other hand, a content analysis of selected texts primarily focused on understanding various diseases and their treatment. Although the texts of the analysed editions do not differ in content from the Glagolitic manuscript texts analysed so far from a historical and medical perspective their value lies in the fact that these texts can be regarded, beyond their primary purpose, as the beginnings of medical terminology in the Croatian language in printed form.
