Sažetak


The paper presented gives a brief review of the project for constructing a Roman ceramics furnace replica that had been constructed on the Varaždinske Toplice archeological site during the month of May, 2009 on the occasion of the International Museum Day. The furnace replica was built from natural materials, under the guidance of Bernd Pfannkuch, the German university lecturer, publisher and professor, who is one of the leading experts on issues connected with constructing such furnaces, member of the International Academy of Ceramics (AIC) in Geneva, and an artist who practices in the area of the so called architectural ceramics.
