Sažetak
The primary objective of this research conducted on the sample of 46 subjects, all 5th grade female students of the Elementary School «Mertojak» in Split, was to establish metric characteristics of the new constructed test for measuring of speed of movement’s frequency. New test is satisfactory sensitive because results of students in the test are normally distributed and it also shows the satisfactory level of reliability (Cronbach´s alpha=0,89), but it’s still less reliable in comparison with other three tests. Relatively high correlation of items with first principal component also shows high homogeneity of all tests, although new test has showed little less homogeneous then the other three tests. That is, first of all, caused by weaker correlation of test’s first item with factor. It could be explained with fact that it was a first time for students to perform that test, so it was probably due to a learning process, and much higher correlation of other two items with first principal component confirms that theory. Also the factor validity of all tests was confirmed and one latent dimension on which all tests, including new one, were significantly projected has formed. New test taping on the bench (TAPKLUP) is slightly less correlated with factor than hand taping (MBFTAP) and foot taping (MBFTAN) tests, but in about same level with foot taping against the wall (MBFTAZ) test which is, because of it’s larger co-ordinating complexity, most similar to the new constructed test. It’s possible to conclude that the new test shows good metrical characteristics for this sample of subjects
