Fermentation of the ultrafiltrated milk permeate

Sažetak
The possibility of the utilization of permeate, the by-product obtained from ultrafiltration, was tested. The results showed that the fermentation of permeate could be carried out by cultures used in the dairy, and permeate could be utilized as a component in the production of beverages.
