Sažetak

Basic preconditions for a successful production of sugar- beet count in natural factors (climate, soil) and technological factors (choosing a lot, crop rotation and pre-sowing, cultivating land, fertilization, control and cultivation).
A producer has a direct influence on technology in crop production.
Sugar- beet is the most intensive field crop by cultivation mode. In the production of sugar- beet it is necessary to perform every technological operation on time and in terms of quality, because otherwise, the mistakes in production result in crop failure and unsatisfying quality of sugar- beet.
For the purpose of increasing crop and quality of sugar- beet by continuous production monitoring, introducing new technologies and producers’ advice, twelve agricultural agents from raw-materials service in VIRO sugar refinery work on the field.
