Housing for Homeland War Victims
Ognjen Čaldarović
Aleksandar Homadovski
Sažetak
The authors investigate the most important aspects of housing for Homeland War victims, mentioned in the title: the characteristics and favourable aspects of flats, the possibility of satisfying various needs in flats and the identification of needs that cannot be satisfied under present housing conditions, types of reconstruction that people made in flats in the effort to improve them and adapt them to their needs, and how residents relate to the block of flats and the environment they live in. Bearing in mind the specific nature of the subject, the sample and the special problems that this group of respondents faces, the authors do not analyse the quality of living in the broader sense of housing sociology, but give some basic findings that emerge from the results of this study.
