Crime trends in the city of Zagreb and Zagreb County

Sažetak

The paper deals with the analysis of crimes committed in the city of Zagreb and Zagreb County. The city of Zagreb and the Zagreb County are territorially the most frequent points in the Republic of Croatia, according to the number of inhabitants, daily migrants and many other parameters. The use of statistical data and methods through this paper, attempts to explain and analyze the problem of the number of committed crimes and correlation with the amount of allocated financial resources to the relevant Zagreb Police Department. Through the prognostic trend model, this paper is an attempt to give forecast of criminal acts trend in the near future.
