Sažetak
This paper presents the small number of fragments of painted
plaster with imitation of alabaster found for the most part at the
north (C) and central (B) temples of the Roman temple precinct
at the Nesactium site. The surviving décor has been attributed to
central and lower zone wall decoration. The surviving fragments
indicate late period painted imitation of alabaster, i.e., from
a period when the motif had already fallen out of fashion in
Roman period painting. The proposed dating puts this work
in the period from Nero’s reign—when the use of marble and
its imitation saw renewed popularity—to the mid-2nd c. CE.
