Sažetak
The authors in the article generally consider and analyse industrial actions through a prism of trade union rights and freedoms paying special attention to strike as the most common version of trade union industrial actions, i.e. of workers.
Using a comparative method, the authors give an effort to analyse and compare the Croatian labour legislation with the other legal systems stressing their individual particularities. The aim of the article is to analyse the institute of industrial actions in details, however, the first part of the article consists of comprehensive introduction to the trade union rights and freedoms from which the right to industrial action is derived. In the last part of the article the authors present individual types of industrial actions short of a strike, such as boycott, work to rule, go slow and bans on overtime.
