The scientific international e-journal Notitia - Journal of Economic, Business and Social Issues (ISSN 1849-9066) was launched in 2015 under the name Notitia - Journal of Sustainable Development. In 2019, it changed its name to Notitia – Journal for Economic, Business and Social Issues. Sustainable economic and social development are at the center of interest for modern societies. The journal publishes scientific and professional papers covering a wide range of topics in the fields of economics, business economics and social development with the aim of expanding and improving existing knowledge, stimulating discussions and reflections on contemporary topics in the aforementioned areas. The journal focuses on the aforementioned topics from aspects of various theories, policies and practices and promotes an interdisciplinary approach. Notitia - Journal of Economic, Business and Social Issues is committed to the highest professional and ethical standards, including zero tolerance for plagiarism and other unacceptable forms of work. The target audience includes researchers, academia, experts and decision-makers interested in sustainable economic and social development. An International Advisory Board adopts and continuously re-evaluates the journal's strategy, which is implemented by the Editorial Board. The journal adheres to the highest ethical standards, following the Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Papers are published in Croatian and English. Only papers that are fully compliant with the instructions for authors (Instructions for authors and paper template) and positively evaluated by at least two independent reviewers (Instructions for reviewers) can be published. The journal is published annually and no publication fees are charged to authors. Research areas include, but are not limited to, economics, social sciences, project management, sociology, political science, public health, biomedicine, textile technology, transport technology, shipbuilding, and interdisciplinary studies in humanities and natural sciences. Since 2025, the journal has been collaborating with the international academic platform SCIENDO, further enhancing its global visibility and the accessibility of published papers. SCIENDO is a leading provider of publishing solutions for academic journals, books, and conference proceedings. It publishes over 500 titles and serves more than 300 scholarly and professional institutions across 40 different countries.
