Sažetak

Last year the National and university library in Zagreb (NUL) introduced a new online servkce “Ask a Librarian”. It enables all users to send search requests on particular topics using a web form. The Library developed its own software solution based on open source. This paper will explain technical components of the online application, and also present the statistical indicators for relevant parameters. Furthermore, the paper will give the results of the user satisfaction survey conducted on library users who use this service.
