The journal Psihoterapija was founded in 1971 at the Center for Mental Health of the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Croatia. It was published continuously on a biannual basis until 1999. In 2016, three psychodynamic psychotherapy societies agreed to relaunch the journal, maintaining the same theoretical orientation and publishing model. The journal is published biannually and publishes articles in Croatian and English. It is indexed in EBSCO, Embase/Excerpta Medica, Hrčak, and Scopus, and also available through numerous discovery & scholarly search platforms. The journal does not charge authors any fees for the publication of their work. The journal welcomes submissions from all authors without any restrictions regarding institutional affiliation, organizational membership, nationality, or other comparable criteria. The annual subscription fee is 80 €.
