The journal Scrinia Slavonica is published once a year and publishes papers dedicated to the history of Slavonia (in the modern geographical meaning of the term), Syrmia (Srijem) and the Croatian part of Baranya (Baranja), including papers that address the historical connections of the aforementioned regions with the surrounding areas. The journal is open to publishing in-depth research contributions (original scientific papers), as well as synthetical or review papers and relevant historical sources in limited selections. In addition, a certain space in the journal is dedicated to papers on broader theoretical and methodological issues, especially when they are relevant for and applicable to specific regional research. The journal's editorial board decides on the acceptance of papers for publication through a peer-review process. The journal also publishes contributions such as book and periodical reviews, reviews of conferences, obituaries, notices, letters to the editor, polemics, etc., the acceptance of which is decided by the editorial board. The technical outlook of the journal is in line with Croatian and European standards. Papers published in the journal Scrinia Slavonica are referenced in the following databases: Scopus; Historical Abstracts and Historical Abstracts with Full Tex (EBSCOhost); European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH Plus). Full papers are available in the Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL) and on the Portal of Croatian Scientific Journals (HRČAK). The possibility of collaboration in the journal is open to all interested authors. Manuscripts can be submitted to the editorial board throughout the year, to the web address https://ojs.srce.hr/slavonica/submissions. In case of difficulties, authors can contact the editorial board by e-mail. The journal does not charge authors, either directly or indirectly, a fee for publishing papers. The editorial board is not responsible for the claims and views expressed in individual contributions.
