The use of the green function method for the scattering of a particle on a system of bound particles

Sažetak

A method for treating elastic and inelastic scattering of a particle on a system of bound particles, using the many-body techniques, is presented. The optical potential model for the elastic scattering is discussed and the way of direct inclusion of the self-consistent incoherent terms is given. Analogous procedure for the inelastic scattering is described.
