SPECIES OF GENUS Aulacaspis Cockerell, 1836 (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Diaspididae) IN CROATIA, WITH EMPHASIS ON Aulacaspis yasumatsui Takagi, 1977

Sažetak

This paper deals with the scale insects Aulacaspis rosae (Bouché, 1833) and Aulacaspis yasumatsui Takagi, 1977 monitored during a four year faunistic investigation (2005-2008) of the genus Aulacaspis Cockerell, 1836 in Croatia.
A. yasumatsui is a newly recorded species for Croatia and the fourth finding of this species in Europe. Distribution (according to the UTM system) and host plants of these species in Croatia are reported. Some morphological characters useful to differentiate the two species are also described.
