Sažetak
The introduction of music into non-musical subjects can have a motivational role or serve to relax the atmosphere and eliminate boredom and fatigue. The paper is aimed at considering the possibility of applying music, i.e. musical activities within non-musical subjects. The paper also summarizes the research results of the study the aim of which was to determine the extent to which
music activities are represented in non-musical subjects and with what purpose. According to the research results it can be concluded that music and musical activities appear mostly in science and not at all in maths classes. As for the total weekly number of classes, musical activities have been most frequently observed in the second grade, slightly less in the first and the least in the third grade. Musical activities served as motivation for the theme of the class, to motivate conversation, for relaxation and as a musical background.
The following musical activities have been noted: listening to pieces of music and songs, singing songs, performing sung musical games and dancing.
