ROLE OF NORMATIVE CLAUSES IN JOSEPH BRODSKY’S POETRY

Sažetak

In the article we analyse semantic and syntactic structure of nominative
clauses in the poetry of Ioseph Brodsky and we analyse the role of such
sentence in the composition of his poems. Brodsky’s revolutionary development
of the syntactic structure of such sentences is very often used by
the poet in building the imagery in his poems, together with the building
of the atmosphere of the poems.
