Abstract

Impulsive buying is a thoroughly studied area of consumer psychology, as it integrates emotional, cognitive, and social aspects of consumer behavior. It refers to a spontaneous decision to purchase a product or service that is not the result of prior planning, but is primarily triggered by an immediate emotional stimulus rather than a rational evaluation of needs and benefits. Such behavior has significant implications at both the individual and societal levels, as it can affect consumers’ financial stability, the shaping of consumption patterns in the economy, and the development of marketing strategies.
