Abstract

Growing lambs for meat in the Republic of Croatia is the traditional way of production. In order not to undermine the quality of lamb meat, it is necessary to pay attention to the welfare of lambs during production. This paper presents the effects of certain procedures before (transport, cattle fair) and during the slaughtering process on the quality of lamb meat.
