Abstract

Privacy prevent the commission of crimes, in particular corruption offenses which include bribery as typical of such an act, is of great importance for every regulated legal system. The centerpiece of this policy is a criminal policy. The success of this policy depends largely on the overall political and economic development of each country.
In support of scientific, in order to keep domestic penal policy of combating corruption crimes more efficient, the paper analyzes the criminal law of the Italian Republic with regard to the question of active bribery as one of the main forms of corrupt conduct.
Displaying comparative arrangement of the Italian prison system, which, as well as Croatian, belongs to the European continental criminal law systems, the author turns to the basic similarities and differences between the legal regulation of active bribery in the Republic of Italy in relation to the domestic legal system.
