Assessing the quality of the online teaching process in adult education: the perspective of program participants

Abstract

The main goal of this research was to examine the advantages as well as the disadvantages of online education in adult trainings, to examine the preparedness of the institution in the process of online classes in regard to the organization of online school, to examine the quality of communication, the competence of teachers and their assistance in online classes, to examine the activity of the partakers during online classes and how they view some elements and procedures of evaluation during the course of online school.
The research was conducted on three occasions since March 2020 until July 2020. The research included 149 participants of different courses in the sphere of adult education. The results obtained by this research show that the participants were highly satisfied during online classes. Furthermore, the results also show fairness in the grading system and overall portray a positive image of the evaluation process as well as a high percentage of involvement and motivation of the participants in attending online classes. Given the results of the research it is to be concluded that the highly motivated and competent teachers were held accountable for these results.
