Abstract

The article focuses media-pedagogy in the interest field of
media-didactics and its task is to throw light upon some choice
criteria and to outline the ways of using media in religious
teaching/catechesis, paying special attention to methodical work
with the Internet, film, (pop or rock) music, video and art prints.
The article consists of two parts. In the first part the author outlines
the kinds, roles and characteristics of media and communications
mediated by media, as well as the aims of media-pedagogy in
the field of religious education and catechesis. The second part presents the choice criteria and suggests some methods for using
the above mentioned media in religious education/catechesis.
