Criminology & Social Integration : journal for criminology, penology and behavoir problems
Criminology and Social Integration is an international journal which publishes papers in the field of criminology, penology and behavioural problems and it has interdisciplinary and trandsdisciplinary openness.
Focus of the journal is on persons as well as social groups which are in conflict with the law and/or manifest behavioural problems and disorders in much broader sense.
The journal is published by Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences- University of Zagreb (with the financial support of Croatian Ministry of Science and Education) and it publishes original scientific papers, preliminary communications, review articles, and professional papers. In addition, conference papers, meeting and conference abstracts, news from the field, book and dissertation reviews etc. are also welcome.
The journal deals with behavioural problems of persons of all ages - children, juveniles and adults. The journal deals with etiology and phenomenology of behavioural problems, as well as topics within the field of prevention, assessment, early interventions, treatment and aftercare of criminal behaviours as well as behavioural problems in general.
The journal aspires to gather distinguished researchers from different universities and other institutions in the Republic of Croatia and abroad.
The editorial board aspires to collect the texts of interest to satisfy a wide circle of readers not only among scientists but also readers in institutions of social welfare, education, health, justice system and internal affairs.
Manuscripts that meet the scope of the Journal and are prepared according to Instructions for authors are sent to double-blind peer-review procedure.
All scientific and review papers accepted for publication and written in Croatian are translated to English free of charge for the authors.
The journal is published on-line.
Authors are invited to contact the Editorial Board, if in doubt about any aspect of scope, format or content of a proposed contribution.
