Abstract

The survey was conducted with the aim of exploring what potential visitors and guests of agrotourism expect in offer of traditional food, wine and indigenous agricultural and food products in Slavonia and Baranja. The survey was conducted through on-line survey on a sample of 340 respondents. The results showed that consumers largely recognize and support gastronomy or food which is essential part of any trip but it can also be a motive and attraction that defines a particular location. Enogastronomy can be a driver for the development of the multifunctional rural area of Slavonia and Baranja as well as an additional source of income for family farms, which is an opportunity for economic and social strengthening of this complex area.
