Journal of Central European Agriculture is international, online, multilingual, quarterly journal established in 1999. It was founded out of joint aspiration of Central European countries in transition to exchange similar solutions and problems they encounter in agriculture and for protection and development of their own languages in profession. Electronic form of journal secure better availability and faster exchange of new scientific findings and information in the field of agriculture, while multilingualism enables preservation of national languages and identities of central European countries. Scientific findings published in this journal are thus available to agricultural practices. JCEA has 9 member countries – Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia. Journal publishes original scientific articles, review articles, brief scientific reports, summaries and papers from scientific conferences in English, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak and Slovenian languages. National editorial boards are responsible for manuscripts written in national languages. Each article must have abstract in English and detailed abstract in English if it’s written in national language of member country. Results (figures and tables) also have to be bilingual. Detailed abstract and results in bilingual form allows international review of received manuscripts. Technical editorial board, situated in Croatia, coordinates the work of national editorial boards of member countries and is responsible for the conduct of procedures for publishing articles and editing website. JCEA is indexed in referral bases Web of Science Core Collection - Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), CAB Abstracts, Scopus, Agricola, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCO and ICI Journals Master List.
