Food Technology and Biotechnology

Food Technology and Biotechnology is an international open access peer-reviewed journal of primary scientific category, which publishes original scientific papers, preliminary communications, scientific notes and reviews, covering the topics of: molecular biology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, microbiology, biochemical engineering and biotechnological processing, food science, analysis of food ingredients and final products, food processing and technology, enology and waste treatment. The official language of the journal is English, and the full text, together with the abstracts in Croatian, is available on the web site of the journal. It is an official journal of the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, and has been funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia and Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. It is also the official journal of the Croatian Society for Biotechnology and the Slovenian Microbiological Society.
